About the Race:
The Heroes Mud Run is a fun way to challenge yourself, physically and mentally with 20 obstacles strategically spread over 3.1 miles of cross-country terrain. This year’s race offers more mud, U.S. Marine motivators, and all-new obstacles to keep you motivated. You must be 14 years of age on race day to participate in the adult run.
Bring the whole family because kids ages 4 through 13 can join in on the fun with the Little Heroes Mud Run, a 2K with Mud and 6-8 obstacles just their size. None of the obstacles require swimming and parents can run alongside their children for Free.
The Heroes Mud Run proudly supports our local Heroes. A portion of the proceeds of the Heroes Mud Run will benefit the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, the Heart of a Marine Foundation and USO of Illinois. All organizations are 501(c) charities.

Online Registration closes on May 27th, 2016 at 10:30am
Friday, May 27th from 3pm – 7pm at the main entrance of Marmion Academy in the Administration Building/Battaglia Center, Door #1 (1000 Butterfield Rd, Aurora) or Saturday morning, May 28th starting at 7:30am at the Registration Tent and will end at 9:45am. If you are picking up your packet on Saturday, be sure to pick it up at least 15 minutes before your scheduled run time. You will need your photo ID. Your packet will include your race bib, Heroes Mud Run t-shirt, wristband and sponsor information.
**IF YOU PICK UP YOUR PACKET ON FRIDAY, YOU DO NOT NEED TO CHECK IN ON RACE DAY**
As a benefit to all racers, the Heroes Mud Run will offer a bag check for all participants. Each racer must have their bib number on to check and claim their bag. Bag check is limited to one bag per participant. While the bag check area is secure and we make every effort to protect your belongings, the Heroes Mud Run is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please leave valuables at home.
